One of my clients is looking for an Databricks Architect - USA (REMOTE) for a contract role. USC/GC only • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Active Databricks Certification (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect). • 12+ years of experience in data engineering, big data, or cloud analytics, with at least 2–3 years in a presales or solution consulting role. • Proven experience designing and presenting Databricks-based architectures and solutions to customers. • Deep understanding of Databricks architecture, Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and integration patterns. • Strong hands-on skills in PySpark, SQL, or Scala to develop POCs and demos. • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value propositions. • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in a data & analytics context. • Strong knowledge of data governance, security, compliance, and enterprise data best practices. • Excellent presentation and communication skills — comfortable with C-level stakeholders, technical teams, and business users. • Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs, preparing solution proposals, and creating high-level solution designs and cost estimates. • Ability to work closely with sales teams, product owners, and delivery teams to shape winning solutions. • Strong problem-solving and consultative skills.
