A consultancy is looking for an experienced Databricks Data Engineer to deliver data engineering solutions for a banking client. The role involves hands-on development across Databricks and Azure within Agile delivery teams.
Key Requirements
• Must have 5 years industry experience
• Advanced Databricks expertise (Delta Lake, Spark, Python, performance optimisation)
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS and Azure SQL
• Proven ETL / ELT, data modelling and data warehousing experience
• Experience working in Agile squads, covering development, testing and analysis
• Hands-on CI/CD and infrastructure automation (Azure DevOps and/or Terraform)
• Banking experience required (retail banking or building societies preferred)
Interviews will be week commencing the 19th January.
