If you are interested in discussing the role, please send the following: Resume: Comfort Rate: Location: Time to talk: We are seeking a Data Engineer to support an enterprise analytics platform with an immediate focus on Databricks-based data engineering. This role addresses near-term delivery needs while also supporting longer-term enhancements to analytics tooling, self-service applications, and advanced analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong core data engineering skills and be comfortable operating in a growing, evolving analytics environment. While the role may expand over time, the primary near-term focus is data engineering. Top 3: 1. Databricks 1. Python 1. SQL ยท Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, highly engaged team ยท Strong problem-solving and communication skills Primary Responsibilities (Immediate Focus: 6โ€“12 months) Core Data Engineering ยท Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks ยท Develop and optimize data transformations using Python and SQL ยท Support ingestion, processing, and preparation of enterprise data for analytics and reporting ยท Collaborate closely with analytics, BI, and business stakeholders to enable scalable, governed data solutions Note: Data engineering is the most critical and immediate need for this role. Secondary / Future Responsibilities Analytics Applications & Platform Tooling ยท Contribute to or support development of analytics applications using: o Databricks Apps o Power Apps (or similar low-code platforms) ยท Enable user-facing experiences that surface analytics, monitoring, or operational insights on top of governed data ยท Work may involve integration with APIs, notebooks, or data services ยท This work is expected to be incremental and complementary to core data engineering; it is not the primary focus of the role Advanced Analytics / Data Science (Future State) ยท Over time, the role may evolve to support: o Statistical analysis o More advanced analytics or data science use cases ยท These capabilities are not required on day one
