We are seeking an experienced Databricks Engineer / DevOps Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Azure-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, deploying, and maintaining Databricks environments using modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices while ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Automate Databricks clusters, jobs, notebooks, libraries, and environment promotions using Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Oversee release management activities, ensuring controlled deployments and rollback strategies.
• Implement and maintain configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet for environment consistency.
• Monitor application and platform performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, proactively identifying issues.
• Implement cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflows and effective communication.
• Participate in capacity planning, cost optimization, and performance tuning activities.
