Job Title: Data/Business Analyst (Power BI) Location: Remote Type: Contract Project Details: Our client is building a business analytics team and is seeking a Data/Business Analyst to support key business intelligence initiatives. This role will focus on refining KPIs, validating data, gathering business requirements, and acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data/business analysis along with hands-on exposure to Power BI reporting and dashboard development. The technical development team will handle backend development activities, while the analyst will help ensure business alignment and accurate reporting outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements • Work closely with stakeholders to refine KPIs and reporting needs • Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy across reports and dashboards • Bridge communication between business users and IT/development teams • Assist in creating and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards • Support business analytics initiatives and reporting enhancements • Translate business requirements into functional specifications Required Skills: • Strong experience in Data Analysis and Business Analysis • Hands-on experience with Power BI reporting and dashboards • Experience with stakeholder management and requirement gathering • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in cross-functional environments Preferred Skills: • Experience working with business intelligence or analytics teams • Exposure to data validation and reporting processes • Understanding of SDLC and Agile environments
