Job Title: Business Analyst – Data Warehousing & BI
Location: San Antonio (Onsite)
Experience: 7+years

Duration: 1 year, extendable
Role Objective Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams, translating business needs into technical specifications for data models, ETL pipelines, and BI solutions to deliver a trusted single source of truth.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Engineering: Lead discovery sessions; produce FRDs and mapping documents. Source-to-Target Mapping: Define data elements, business rules, and transformations.
Data Profiling: Use SQL, Pyspark, Python to assess data quality, identify anomalies, and validate integrity.
Data Modeling: Partner with data architects on star/snowflake schemas and dimensional models. UAT Ownership: Define test cases, execute UAT, and validate outputs against business requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Manage backlog and prioritize data initiatives by ROI and impact.
Technical Skills SQL: Queries (joins, CTEs, window functions).
Data Warehousing: ETL/ELT, ADF.
BI Tools: Power BI, Looker,
Documentation: Jira, Confluence, data dictionaries, SharePoint Online.
Preferred Qualifications 5–7 years in Data Warehousing or Analytics. Strong communicator able to explain technical concepts to executives. Experience with cloud data warehouses.
