Delphix Implementation Consultant
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina (Remote - EST hours)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 only - cannot work C2C or 1099 or provide visa sponsorship on W2)
Role Overview
This is a senior-level position for a Level 2 Data Protection Engineer with a focus on Delphix Data Masking. The role involves architecting, implementing, and optimizing data masking solutions. The ideal candidate will function as a Data Consultant with a strong understanding of Delphix architecture and implementation, working with cross-functional teams to secure sensitive data in non-production environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement advanced data masking and virtualization solutions using Delphix for non-production environments.
• Develop and optimize masking algorithms tailored to specific data types and regulatory requirements, including PII, PHI, and PCI data.
• Deploy and configure Delphix masking engines, ensuring compatibility with various database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
• Integrate Delphix with CI/CD pipelines to automate masking and virtualization workflows.
• Monitor the performance of Delphix masking processes, troubleshoot failures, and continuously refine rules to meet business needs.
• Ensure masking solutions comply with enterprise policies and regulatory standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.
• Perform risk assessments for non-production data environments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on data masking projects.
• Maintain detailed documentation for masking processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Senior-level experience as a Data Protection Engineer, Data Consultant, or DBA with a strong focus on Delphix.
Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Delphix for data masking and virtualization.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing secure transport protocols (TLS 1.2+, HTTPS, SFTP).
• Experience with data masking for various database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2).
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
• Ability to configure, install, upgrade, and provide technical support for systems.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $80.00 and $82.75 per hour with some flexibility.
