Hi, Please go through below requirement if you are comfortable; please share your updated resume to my email id: chandra@reignmarkcs.com Except H1B and CPT, candidates with any valid US work visa are acceptable Position: DBA with MemSQL (SingleStore) Location: Irving, NJ / Tampa Duration: 12+ months Experience: 06+Years Work Mode: Onsite Note:Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in MemSQL (SingleStore) to manage, maintain, and optimize high-performance distributed database environments. The ideal candidate will ensure database availability, performance, security, and scalability in production systems. Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain MemSQL (SingleStore) database environments Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries Manage backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies Perform database capacity planning and scaling for high-volume workloads Ensure database security, access control, and compliance standards Work closely with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts (Shell, Python, etc.) Handle production support, incidents, and root cause analysis Maintain documentation and operational runbooks Required Skills: 6+ years of experience as a Database Administrator Strong hands-on experience with MemSQL / SingleStore Expertise in SQL performance tuning and query optimization Experience with distributed and in-memory databases Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems Experience with backup, restore, HA, and DR strategies Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Nice to Have: Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL / NoSQL databases Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines Exposure to real-time analytics or big data platforms Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
