Role description
Title: Data Engineer (Terraform) Client: Major Global Investment Bank (through SI Partner) Location: NYC (5 days in office) Rate: Open Term: 6 months Renewable If you are not sincere about working 5 days in office .. Do not apply There is no flexibility • • Strong expertise in AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes orchestration. Proven track record with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling. Hands-on experience with databases (Aurora, DynamoDB, Postgres's) and messaging (SQS, Kafka). Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. AWS-to-AWS Migrations (M&A, Account, Region) • Lead migrations between AWS accounts, regions, and organizations for security, compliance, and business restructuring. • Support merger & acquisition migrations by consolidating workloads into target AWS landing zones. • Re-platform and modernize workloads during migrations (Aurora, DynamoDB, S3 replication, EKS/ECS). • Implement cross-account networking, IAM, and data replication strategies.
