Developer (PowerShell) Location: Irvine, CA Work Schedule: Onsite – 5 days per week Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension Employment Type: W2 only Compensation: $58.00 – $62.00 per hour Important: This position is not open to Corp-to-Corp (C2C), visa transfer, or employer sponsorship arrangements, including H-1B sponsorship, at this time. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Developer to support enterprise application and infrastructure initiatives focused on software upgrades, server-side deployments, automation scripting, and cloud-related support. This role will assist with software upgrades in server environments, testing activities, deployment support, and the creation of PowerShell automation scripts to improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to cloud services such as AWS and experience supporting application migrations to new systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level developer looking to gain hands-on experience with enterprise deployments, automation, and cloud technologies in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployment and operational processes Support software upgrades and deployments across server environments Assist with application migrations to new systems and infrastructure Perform testing and validation to ensure successful deployments and system functionality Troubleshoot deployment, application, and server-related issues Support cloud-based services and deployments within AWS environments Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and project teams to ensure successful implementation activities Document deployment procedures, scripts, and technical processes Required Qualifications 4–6 years of experience in development, systems engineering, or related technical roles Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and automation Experience supporting Windows server environments and application deployments Understanding of software testing and deployment processes Experience with at least one programming language such as .NET/C# or similar Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work onsite in Irvine, CA five days per week Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS cloud services or other cloud platforms Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or deployment automation tools Experience supporting system migrations and infrastructure upgrades Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and eager to contribute to both deployment operations and scripting automation initiatives.
