Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full‑Stack Developer to support a high‑visibility enterprise forecasting platform used for long‑term financial projections, scenario analysis, and regulatory reporting. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys modernizing complex systems, improving performance at scale, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable, and mission‑critical software.
You’ll play a key role in enhancing forecasting engines, supporting time‑sensitive production runs, and ensuring the platform continues to meet evolving business and regulatory needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Refactor and modernize financial accounting and forecasting applications to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability
• Develop and enhance core forecasting engine features to improve model accuracy and runtime efficiency
• Support critical quarterly and annual production runs, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve defects while reducing technical debt
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code following software engineering best practices
• Build and maintain strong automated unit and integration test coverage
• Collaborate across data, services, APIs, and infrastructure layers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
• Partner with financial stakeholders to implement new forecasting capabilities and scenario analysis
• Assist with platform upgrades, migrations, and adoption of new technologies
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and documentation efforts
Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience using a modern programming language (Python, Java, or C#)
• Strong experience with Git in a team‑based development environment
• Solid experience with SQL and relational database development
• Experience writing and maintaining automated unit tests
• Strong problem‑solving skills and familiarity with Agile development practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred
• Experience with shell scripting for automation and operational support
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
• Financial domain knowledge, particularly fixed income concepts (duration, convexity, spreads, OAS)
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• Professional certifications or progress toward CFA, FRM, or CPA
• Understanding of GAAP accounting fundamentals
• Experience working directly with stakeholders and using tools such as JIRA
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $75.57
