Role: Senior Full Stack Gen AI Engineer Supporting: Large Financial Services Client Location: McLean, VA (Onsite) Assignment Type: Contract‑to‑Hire Duration: 6 Months Role Overview This is a hands‑on, high‑impact engineering role for a senior Full Stack Engineer who thrives at the intersection of modern UI, scalable microservices, and applied Gen AI. You’ll be designing and building AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, and Generative AI applications that solve complex, real‑world business problems at enterprise scale. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys owning solutions end to end—from Angular front‑end experiences to Python‑based orchestration services deployed on AWS Kubernetes, while collaborating closely with Gen AI scientists, UX designers, product managers, and data engineers. Key Responsibilities • Architect, design, and implement scalable Full Stack Gen AI applications, including AI Agents and Agentic Workflows • Build and maintain performant, user‑friendly Angular front ends • Design and develop Python microservices that orchestrate AI workflows and model integrations • Deploy and operate services on AWS (EKS/Kubernetes) using cloud‑native practices • Integrate ML models such as LLMs, RAG pipelines, and multimodal AI into production systems • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support seamless application communication • Apply modern design patterns, secure coding standards, and best practices for microservices and UI development • Partner with cross‑functional teams (Gen AI scientists, UX, data, product) to deliver end‑to‑end Gen AI experiences • Implement evaluation frameworks, validation strategies, bias mitigation, safety controls, and guardrails for production‑ready AI deployments Qualifications • Advanced expertise with Angular (UI development) • Strong Python development experience in microservices architectures • Hands‑on experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) • 10+ years of full stack engineering experience • 3+ years of applied AI/ML or Gen AI experience • Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise‑grade applications • Required Education: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Preferred Qualifications • Experience building AI‑powered or Gen AI‑driven applications • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Exposure to enterprise AI governance, compliance, and ethical AI frameworks • Open‑source contributions or published technical work • Active GitHub profile demonstrating hands‑on engineering skills • Please provide a GitHub link with submitted resumes.
