A high-performing Front Office Technology team is looking for an exceptional Senior Python Developer to design and build cutting-edge, globally distributed financial systems. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced trading environment, collaborating directly with traders, quants, and operations teams to drive innovation in FX, Fixed Income, and Derivatives platforms.

π§ What Youβll Be Doing
β’ Building and maintaining mission-critical trading and pricing systems using Python (or C#/Java/C++)
β’ Designing resilient, low-latency, high-availability solutions for real-time trading
β’ Partnering with global dev teams in an agile setup (XP, Scrum, Kanban)
β’ Solving production issues as part of 3rd line support in live trading environments
β’ Collaborating with front-office users to deliver robust, scalable tools
β’ Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated test strategies
β
What Youβll Bring
β’ Strong background in Python (or other OO/functional languages)
β’ A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
β’ Deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns
β’ Experience in financial systems, preferably in FX, Derivatives, or Fixed Income
β’ Solid understanding of messaging middleware, TCP/IP networking
β’ Familiarity with agile development, CI/CD, and testing frameworks
β’ Calm and effective when tackling real-time production issues
β Bonus Points For
β’ Experience with FX options or other derivatives
β’ Exposure to front-office platforms like Athena, SecDB, or Quartz
β’ Knowledge of financial protocols (e.g., FIX 4.4, FpML)
β’ Integration experience with broker feeds, trade repositories
β’ Proficiency in SQL or NoSQL database environments
