Role description
Java Developer / Hybrid / Atlanta One of the major American airlines is looking for a Java Developer Specialist to join their Hybrid team in Atlanta, GA! This role is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications and cloud-native platforms that power mission-critical airline operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full-stack development with SpringBoot and RESTful APIs, paired with a DevOps-focused mindset and hands-on cloud expertise. Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion Required Skills & Experience • 2–6 years of professional software development experience • Strong experience building RESTful APIs and serverless microservices with SpringBoot • Experience with full-stack cloud-native development • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, AWS CDK, and/or Tekton • Proficiency working with source code management tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or AWS Code Commit What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities • Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement business and technical IT solutions using appropriate software development life cycle methodologies • Participate in standard solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions across Delta’s enterprise system • Construct, test, and deploy components of business-critical applications and microservices • Use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems • Apply specialized knowledge in disciplines such as integration, cross-discipline functions, or cloud-native development • Interact with stakeholders to understand the business environment and technical requirements • Validate project scope, plans, and deliverables to ensure successful implementations Posted By: VMS Sourcing
