Cloud Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps / Build & Release / Systems Engineering Professional with deep expertise across Cloud platforms, DevOps automation, container orchestration, Linux/Unix administration, networking, and CI/CD ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have strong handsβon experience working with Kubernetes, OpenShift, cloud-native infrastructure, automation frameworks, and enterprise-grade deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) management and deployment Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices. Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and other Kubernetes ecosystem tools.Architect, deploy and manage scalable and secure infrastructure solutions on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) using Terraform.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to automate the provisioning and management of GKE clusters and associated resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities, ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure that supports continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Automate routine tasks and improve infrastructure efficiency through advanced scripting techniques and Terraform modules.
Monitor infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Ensure that infrastructure is secure, compliant with organizational policies, and follows best practices for cloud security and data protection.
Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide the necessary infrastructure support. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on best practices in GKE and IaC.
Knowledge of payments industry

Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
