Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Developer with Playwright and Typescript experience. Position Overview: As a Developer specializing in Playwright and TypeScript, you will play a pivotal role in our transition to a modern automation platform. You will be responsible for developing automated scripts, setting up deployment processes, and engaging in high-level discussions with DevOps teams regarding CI/CD pipelines. While testing experience is valuable, this role primarily focuses on development tasks with a strong emphasis on Playwright and TypeScript expertise. Responsibilities:
β’ Develop automated scripts using Playwright and TypeScript to support testing and automation efforts
β’ Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines
β’ Engage in high-level discussions with DevOps teams to determine tooling preferences and infrastructure requirements for containerization and deployment
β’ Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for Playwright, TypeScript, and automation development
β’ Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize automation processes
β’ Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to automation and DevOps practices
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
β’ Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in Playwright preferred
β’ Solid understanding of software development principles and practices
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools, such as GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
β’ Proven experience in collaborating with DevOps teams and driving discussions around infrastructure and deployment strategies
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
β’ Experience with Python is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
