EPITEC U.S. CITIZENS ONLY-NO GREENCARDS Title: Developer (Specialized) – III (Salesforce Apex Developer) Location: Fully Remote (United States) Work Arrangement: Fully Remote – W2 Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (Must be able to support Central / Eastern Time meetings) Duration: 6?month contract (non?renewable) Pay:$85/hour (W2) Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizens Only Clearance: ANACI required Job Summary EPITEC is seeking two Developer Specialist Level III Salesforce Developers to support the Salesforce CRM Application Team for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. These roles are critical to supporting a new major Salesforce project while also assisting with refactoring and improving existing Salesforce applications. The developers will primarily focus on Apex coding, with a strong emphasis on Lightning Web Components (LWC), triggers, and Salesforce Flows. The team is expanding due to increased project demand and currently consists of five Salesforce administrators, two developers, and two QA team members. This is a fully remote opportunity for experienced Salesforce developers who can demonstrate strong Apex expertise and clearly communicate their project experience during interviews. Responsibilities β€’ Develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex β€’ Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) β€’ Create, analyze, and optimize Salesforce Flows β€’ Design and maintain triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes β€’ Refactor and enhance existing Salesforce applications β€’ Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions β€’ Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, QA, and other developers β€’ Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and best practices β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce technical issues β€’ Develop and maintain technical documentation β€’ Stay current with Salesforce releases and development best practices Years of Experience and Education Years of Experience β€’ 3+ years of Salesforce development experience required β€’ Senior?level experience (including 15+ years) is not automatically disqualifying β€’ Strong Apex project experience is the primary evaluation factor Education β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field β€’ Equivalent professional experience accepted β€’ Salesforce certifications are preferred but not required Top 3 Skills Required (Hard Skills) β€’ Apex programming (enterprise?level custom solutions) β€’ Lightning Web Components (LWC) β€’ Salesforce Flow optimization Required Additional Technical Skills β€’ Apex Triggers and best practices β€’ Salesforce Flow β€’ Salesforce integration patterns β€’ Salesforce data model and security model β€’ Version control systems (Git – hard requirement) Desired β€’ Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud experience β€’ MuleSoft (nice?to?have) β€’ Salesforce DX β€’ JavaScript, HTML, and CSS β€’ Agile development experience Soft Skills Required β€’ Strong communication skills β€’ Team collaboration β€’ Critical thinking and problem?solving Desired β€’ Adaptability to changing priorities β€’ Ability to clearly explain technical concepts during interviews and team discussions Interview & Screening Process Screening Requirements β€’ Vendor partners conduct first?round screening on camera β€’ Candidates must appear on camera β€’ No virtual or blurred backgrounds allowed β€’ Use of AI tools during interviews will result in immediate disqualification Disqualifiers / Red Flags β€’ Non?U.S. citizenship (Green Cards not accepted) β€’ Inability to support Central or Eastern Time meetings β€’ Weak or unclear Apex coding experience β€’ Resume experience that does not align with interview responses β€’ Use of AI tools during the interview process #INDPRO
