Role description
Job Title: Developer Tools Engineer
Location: Spring, TX Onsite Interview required
Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, support, and establish best practices for GitHub Enterprise and jFrog platform management.
• Build custom data analytics, KPIs, and dashboards using Power BI to track DevOps adoption.
• Develop automations and API integrations between developer tools and the Internal Developer Portal.
• Consult, mentor, and train the internal developer community on CI/CD and artifact management.
• Partner with Cyber Security to strengthen the organization's Application Security posture.
• Streamline developer onboarding by creating standardized forms, templates, and reusable components.
• Troubleshoot complex errors and optimize existing platform management workflows under minimal supervision.
Requirements
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical Developer Tools or Platform Engineering role.
• Proven expertise in GitHub Enterprise, jFrog, and Power BI data analytics.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
• Advanced scripting and API integration skills for workflow automation.
• Willingness to complete a 1-stage technical video interview followed by a mandatory on-site interview in Houston.
• Prior experience within the Oil and Gas industry is highly prioritized.
