We have an excellent on-site opportunity for a Systems Analyst (C. Advanced) with the State of FL in Tallahassee, FL. This is a long-term contract position requiring full-time, in-person work. Advanced Collaboration Request: PR868848-R168511 Client: State of FL Location:, Tallahassee, FL 32301 Interview Process: • Face-to-face interviews (at manager discretion) • Virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams may be permitted Telecommuting: • Not authorized — must work onsite Work Hours: • Flexibility required between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Occasional Saturdays or rotation-based on-call work may be required Scope of Services The selected candidate will support the Office of Information Technology by: • Documenting critical business processes • Analyzing current business functions to identify improvements • Supporting process redesign, development, and testing • Working with financial systems and related business processes • Acting as an SME for applications involving complex financial workflows • Ensuring scalable and robust solutions on large cross-functional projects Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • OR equivalent hands-on technical experience Experience Requirements • 7+ years as a lead developer or development manager • 5+ years working with development technologies, including Oracle databases or similar relational systems • Highly desired: Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET Primary Duties & Responsibilities 1. Serve as a developer and SME for financial business applications on large cross-functional initiatives 1. Provide guidance to QA teams throughout all stages of the development lifecycle 1. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues 1. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts (roadmaps, methodologies, standards) 1. Collaborate with distributed teams to ensure successful project delivery 1. Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and development practices Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Technical KSAs: 1. Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL 1. Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET (preferred) 1. Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework or nHibernate 1. Prior development and maintenance experience with complex financial systems 1. Strong verbal and written communication skills 1. Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environments 1. Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team 1. Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions 1. Ability to apply research and best practices for continuous improvement 1. Ability to lead and communicate effectively with development teams 1.
