Role description
Onsite in Charlotte, NC - 4 days, 1 day remote
Our client seeks a Development Analyst to design, develop, test, and maintain software across web portals, proprietary analytical modules, and SQL applications. The role will contribute full-stack solutions using SQL, Angular, Node.js, Git, and related tools while adhering to SDLC practices. The analyst will collaborate with senior technical leaders to translate requirements into designs and deliver production-quality code with clear documentation.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities
β’ Produce user-friendly, reliable production code with clear documentation.
β’ Improve and maintain existing software applications.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
β’ Participate in root cause analysis of system issues.
β’ Test code to validate user requirements, numerical accuracy, and performance stability.
β’ Apply development standards and architectures as defined by the Enterprise Architect, including Git, archiving processes, JIRA, and web technologies.
β’ Identify and recommend improvements to achieve best practices and high performance.
β’ Collaborate with the Technical Manager or Enterprise Architect to convert user requirements into design documents.
Experience Requirements
β’ 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
β’ Proficiency in full-stack web development using Angular and Node.js.
β’ Strong SQL skills for application development and data handling.
β’ Experience with Git and standard SDLC practices.
β’ Ability to work independently and deliver production-quality code.
β’ Proficiency with Linux environments.
β’ Familiarity with AI technologies.
β’ Experience with languages and tools such as SQL, Perl, C, JavaScript, and Spotfire.
Education Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs degree.
