My client is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, who has strong GitLab experience to assess and evolve their platform architecture in alignment with best-in-class reference models. In this critical role, you’ll evaluate the performance and maturity of the platform and DevSecOps ecosystem, helping them to scale and innovate across a complex, high-availability environment.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify and implement strategic changes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the current platform architecture for alignment with reference architecture principles.
• Evaluate ecosystem maturity, particularly DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and platform performance.
• Design and implement architectural changes that support zero-downtime upgrades, leveraging GitLab GEO features.
• Analyse current artifact management solutions (handling 7PB+ in Artifactory) and recommend improvements.
• Champion scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure platform design across the organisation.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in DevSecOps, with a deep understanding of modern CI/CD ecosystems.
• Strong background in platform architecture and infrastructure as code.
Hands-on experience with:
• GitLab, ideally including GitLab GEO
• Designing and operating high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
