Role description
DevOps Engineer Macedonia, OH 6 Months initial contract with scope for extension US Citizenship required 1099 or W2 only. NO C2C OR 3rd party agencies. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who fits well with a fast-paced, collaborative culture to help build out digital infrastructure and automation. Reporting to the Sr. Development Leader of the Software & Digital Infrastructure (SDI) team, you’ll work closely with IT, SDI, and AI/ML teams to automate infrastructure management and develop CI/CD pipelines. The SDI team acts as a force multiplier across the organization, leveraging modern tools and services to enable faster, smarter delivery. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure β€’ Automate deployment and management of on-premises systems β€’ Configure and manage databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) β€’ Troubleshoot system and application issues across multiple platforms β€’ Improve productivity via process automation β€’ Define system backup/recovery strategies β€’ Optimize performance and cost-efficiency β€’ Support IaC standards, CI/CD policies, and operational reporting Required Qualifications: β€’ BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar β€’ Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows β€’ Scripting experience (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PowerShell) β€’ 2+ years working with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) β€’ Understanding of networking (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN) β€’ Experience with Docker/Kubernetes β€’ Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, AWS RDS) β€’ Eagerness to learn new tools β€’ Strong communication skills β€’ Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred: β€’ Exposure to HPC hardware/infrastructure β€’ Experience in a manufacturing environment
