Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a DevOps Engineer who will create and maintain docker files, manifest files, and HELM Charts for different environments/orchestrators. Duties include production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, real-time monitoring, and high availability and reliability of critical systems in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required
β’ 8+ years of demonstrable experience in software engineering
β’ Hands-on experience with one or more of the languages (Python, Java, Go, Javascript etc.)
β’ Solid experience working with public cloud and cloud infrastructure
β’ Cloud platform experience with certifications preferred (AWS or Azure)
β’ Experience provisioning compute resources or managing IAAM roles and subscriptions in the cloud
β’ Experience building VPCs, private networks and network routes and rules in the public cloud.
β’ Demonstrated ability to utilize modern monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk, \_)
β’ Experience managing systems using infrastructure as code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM, etc.)
β’ Experience building CI-CD pipelines for DevSecOps functions
β’ Hands-on experience with Deployments tools like Udeploy, Starling, Mario
β’ Knowledge of WS Cloud DevOps services such as Jenkins, IAM, VPC, ECS, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation
β’ Knowledge of Docker containers and PaaS (such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher) highly desired
β’ Hands-on Kubernetes skills and knowledge
β’ Experience managing systems using infrastructure as code tools (IAM, ARM, Terraform)
β’ Expertise in Production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, real-time monitoring, and high availability and reliability of critical systems in a fast-paced environment
β’ Experience with Azure application deployment Process
β’ Experience engineering/sizing, installing, configuring, and maintaining mission critical applications
β’ Azure Active Directory hands-on experience
β’ Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues in the cloud
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
