Role description
Location: 100% remote Compensation: $40-48hr Start Date: Mid-June Length: 6 month contract to hire Work Auth: USC or GC Job Requirements: DevOps Engineer Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Azure. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins. • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes. • Implement security measures using Twistlock. • Manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments. • Write automation scripts in Python and PowerShell. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles. • Proficiency in Terraform, Azure, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Twistlock, Helm, Python, and PowerShell. • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices. • Experience with infrastructure as code and container orchestration. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP). • Knowledge of additional scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Ruby). • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). • Understanding of network security and best practices.
