Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team! This position is located in St. Paul, Minnesota; Dallas, Texas; Brookfield, Wisconsin; and Columbia, South Carolina.
Duties:
β’ Design and write complex code in several languages relevant to our existing product stack, with a focus on automation
β’ Configure, tune, maintain, and install application systems and validate system functionality
β’ Monitor and fine-tune application systems to achieve optimum performance levels, and work with hardware teams to resolve issues with hardware and software
β’ Lead, manage, and grow a customer-focused, highly dynamic, and multi-disciplinary team of full stack software engineers
β’ Assist with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors, and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot
β’ Design and implement appropriate environments for DevOps tool sets, and provide production support
β’ Influence other teams and broader engineering groups in adopting cloud technologies, processes, and best practices
β’ Automate the provisioning of environments for the DevOps tool chain
β’ Develop and enable continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for the DevOps tool set
β’ Act to improve the overall reliability of systems and increase efficiency
β’ Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, using Agile/DevOps principles to bring products to life, achieve business objectives, and serve customer needs
β’ Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, outside-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization
Desired Skills/Experience:
β’ 3+ years of experience with Splunk
β’ 3+ years of experience with AppDynamics
β’ 3+ years of experience in Batch Monitoring
