About the Role:
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build, operate, and continuously improve the infrastructure that supports the Catalyst recruitment platform. In this role, you will ensure our systems remain scalable, reliable, and secure as we expand our AI-powered capabilities and process increasing volumes of candidate and job data.
You will work closely with backend, frontend, and AI engineers to streamline development workflows, automate deployments, and maintain high system reliability. This role is critical to enabling the engineering team to move quickly while maintaining strong operational discipline.
We're looking for someone who enjoys building reliable infrastructure, improving developer productivity, and operating systems that scale in a fast-moving, production environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting the Catalyst recruiting platform
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments
• Implement infrastructure-as-code practices to automate provisioning and environment management
• Improve system reliability, observability, and performance through monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer workflows and streamline deployment processes
• Manage secure and scalable environments that support multi-tenant SaaS architecture and data processing workloads
• Identify operational bottlenecks and continuously improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Qualifications:
• Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar to improve infrastructure, automation, or developer workflows
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience operating infrastructure for data-intensive or AI-powered platforms or applications
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Experience working with containerized environments such as Docker
• Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
• Strong understanding of system monitoring, logging, and observability practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative engineering environment with a strong sense of ownership
• Experience working effectively in remote or distributed engineering teams with clear communication and accountability
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience supporting machine learning workloads in production
• Experience working with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
• Experience managing high-throughput data processing or event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with security best practices for multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Experience improving developer productivity through automation and tooling
