• Ability to integrate security into pipelines (Azure, GitHub).
• Coding/scripting background (Java + automation).
• Secrets scanning, rule activation, output analysis.
Candidate profile:
• Hands-on secure DevOps engineer who can talk through securing a pipeline end-to-end.
• senior enough to lead 2 others (showing leadership, initiative, and problem solving).
Screening Qs:
• “Talk me through how you would secure a CI/CD pipeline from code commit to deployment.”
• “What scanning tools have you implemented? How did you act on the results?”
• “If leading two engineers, how would you solve an end-to-end pipeline security challenge?”
