DevOps Engineer
6+ months
£500 per day (Outside IR35)
2/3 days per month on site in London
Cloud Bridge are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join us working on project for a long standing customer in the financial service sector who are building out new parts to their AWS platform.
Key responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and managing scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Automating deployments and infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitoring and improving system performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborating with developers, architects, and operations teams to streamline delivery.
Key Skills
Strong commercial experience with AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Skilled in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
Containerisation experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
Good knowledge of monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Solid understanding of security best practice in cloud environments.
Desirable skills
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
Familiarity with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
