Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Duration: 6 months
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS, automation, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting distributed microservices, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support microservices and n-tier systems in Linux environments.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation.
• Develop automation solutions to streamline builds, testing, and deployment processes.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous delivery practices are followed.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS services including CloudFront, S3, IAM, Route53, and EC2.
• Use configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt) to manage server states.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and improve stability.
• Be available for after-hours and weekend support as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems administration.
• 5+ years of AWS experience with services like CloudFront, S3, EC2, IAM, Route53.
• 5+ years working with CloudFormation or similar provisioning tools.
• 5+ years in CI/CD automation using Jenkins, Maven, or equivalent tools.
• Strong experience with Bash, Python, or Perl scripting.
• Solid understanding of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt).
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with version control platforms (Git, GitHub, or Subversion).
• Strong desire to automate L1 support operations wherever possible.
