Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will drive the automation, deployment, and management of our cloud-based and on-premises IT infrastructure. Your expertise will enable seamless integration of development and operations, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of our enterprise software solutions. Duties
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack, and VMware virtualization environments.
Develop and manage container orchestration solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift to streamline deployment pipelines.
Automate configuration management and deployment processes utilizing tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and PowerShell scripts.
Collaborate with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and GitHub to accelerate software delivery cycles.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs with tools like New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and Logstash; perform incident response and disaster recovery planning.
Manage enterprise middleware such as WebLogic, WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, Tomcat, and Web services to ensure reliable application hosting.
Oversee network security measures including firewall configurations, DNS management, identity & access management (IAM), and cloud security protocols to safeguard critical data assets.
Skills
Extensive experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for microservices deployment.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack; familiarity with cloud infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby on Rails, Go; ability to develop automation scripts for system administration tasks.
Deep understanding of enterprise software environments including WebLogic Server, WebSphere, JBoss Application Server; experience with Java (Java SE/EE), C#, .NET frameworks.
Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef; version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, SVN; build tools including Maven and Gradle.
Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), Oracle Database (PL/SQL), DynamoDB; expertise in SQL query optimization and database troubleshooting.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure components including TCP/IP networking protocols (TCP/IP), DNS management, Active Directory integration; network administration skills.
Strong understanding of SDLC principles—requirements gathering through system testing—and software project management methodologies like Agile Scrum.
