Role description
The Mission
Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our .NET platforms. You’ll be the go-to for reliability, security, and cost efficiency across production.
Key Responsibilities
• Own Azure infrastructure using Bicep and IaC best practices.
• Design and optimise CI/CD for .NET apps (GitHub Actions/ArgoCD or equivalent).
• Manage Azure App Services and container workloads for performance and cost.
• Architect and secure VNets/Subnets, VPN Gateways, NSGs.
• Enforce cloud security (RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Azure Front Door; policy/compliance).
• Deliver scalable, resilient designs: autoscaling, load balancing, failover.
• Lead DR strategy, testing, and documentation.
• Monitor with Grafana, Loki, App Insights, Log Analytics; drive proactive improvements.
• Partner with dev teams on deployment patterns and operability.
• Mentor engineers; promote DevOps culture and SRE-style practices.
What you’ll bring
• 8 to 10 years in a DevOps role
• Deep Azure (App Services, networking, VPN Gateways, NSG), IaC with Bicep.
• Proven CI/CD delivery (GitHub Actions/ArgoCD or similar).
• Strong .NET deployment know-how, scaling & resilience patterns.
• Security mindset + DR experience.
Nice to have
AKS/Kubernetes, Docker/container registries, compliance (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR), Azure certs.
This is a 6 month contract, outside IR35.
Remote Based in the UK, with occasional travel to our London Hub.
