Job Title: DevOps Engineer - GitHub Actions - W2 Only
Pay Rate: $70-$75/hour W2
Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite weekly in one of the following locations: Pittsburgh, PA | Cleveland, OH | Dallas, TX | Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer with deep expertise in GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions to design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines. This role will be instrumental in supporting migration efforts by developing reusable workflows and actions that enable secure, efficient, and automated software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop reusable GitHub workflows and custom actions to support enterprise-wide CI/CD standardization.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD automation using GitHub Reusable Workflows and JavaScript-based Custom Actions.
• Integrate tools for security scanning, secrets management, and artifact storage (e.g., JFrog Artifactory).
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues.
• Contribute to migration strategies from legacy CI/CD systems to GitHub Actions.
• Maintain documentation and best practices for CI/CD processes and reusable components.
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Hands-on expertise with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in YAML and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Golang.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines and migration patterns to GitHub.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools and GitOps workflows.
