Role description
DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (Manchester) £450-£600 per day (Outside IR35) We’re representing a forward-thinking technology solutions provider that partners with organisations to modernise and scale their IT operations. They’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their growing team, helping design and deliver secure, scalable, multi-cloud solutions. The role: As DevOps Engineer, you’ll take ownership of building and managing infrastructure across AWS and Azure, with exposure to GCP highly desirable. You’ll work in a collaborative environment, developing automation, optimising costs, and embedding best practices across cloud security and scalability. Key responsibilities: • Build, manage, and optimise cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable, scalable deployments • Drive improvements in cloud security, cost optimisation, and automation • Work closely with development and data teams to deliver robust, repeatable environments • Contribute to hybrid and multi-cloud design strategies What you’ll need: • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation) • Proven track record working with AWS and Azure • Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines • Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and cost optimisation • Collaborative approach and ability to work cross-functionally Nice to have: • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience • Container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS) • Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana) • Knowledge of hybrid or multi-cloud network design Package & benefits: • Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the Manchester office • Chance to join a growing business delivering modern cloud solutions If you’re a DevOps Engineer looking to make a real impact with cutting-edge cloud projects, we’d love to hear from you.
