DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities • Support the defined tactical DevSecOps roadmap, contributing to objectives that improve DevSecOps across the organization. • Deliver high-quality solutions and documentation aligned with specifications, estimates, and company standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including software engineering, operations, quality assurance, and cybersecurity—to streamline processes. • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of automation solutions to enable efficient, secure, and consistent code deployment. • Design and develop software that balances creativity, effectiveness, and compliance with architecture/design principles and acceptance criteria. • Continuously enhance solutions by addressing technical debt while deploying new capabilities. • Ensure solution quality through unit testing, functional testing, AppSec testing, and quality assurance practices. • Provide operational support for internally developed solutions (e.g., restarting services/jobs, troubleshooting pipelines, responding to tickets) while advocating for automation and continuous improvement. • Document and standardize common practices to improve team knowledge sharing, task coverage, and operational resiliency. Required • Management and usage of DevOps platforms, including Azure DevOps and GitHub. • .NET C# development for backend process orchestration, API development, and front-end UI (Blazor). • Azure Entra ID integration for application and API authentication/authorization. • Software testing skills: unit testing, functional testing, quality testing. • Azure cloud computing and hosting: Azure App Services, Functions, Kubernetes Services (AKS), and Container Apps. • Containerized application development and orchestration. • Version control management (Git). • Database management (SQL, CosmosDB). Preferred • Azure DevOps pipeline development and design. • Enterprise-grade, re-usable API development. • GitHub Copilot utilization and optimization (custom instructions, governance). • Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum). Highly Preferred • Artifact management and lifecycle (e.g., JFrog Artifactory). • Usage and configuration of Azure API Management (APIM).
