DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location :: Frisco, Texas (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Duration :: Long Term Job Description:: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Banking client in Frisco, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Terraform, AWS services, CI/CD automation, and scripting. This role involves working on infrastructure automation, cloud solutions, application deployments, and providing production support in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including reusable modules, version upgrades, and handling version migrations. • Design and maintain scalable AWS services including ECS (Fargate), Secrets Manager, ALB, DynamoDB, Lambda, Batch, and Route53. • Setup and manage Liquibase for database versioning and integrate with Jenkins for automated database deployments. • Implement and maintain Jenkins Pipelines for builds, automated testing, and application deployments. • Develop automation tools and scripts using Python and Shell scripting for operational support and integrations. • Provide production support while collaborating with DevOps, Development, and QA teams. • (Nice to have) Knowledge of Java Spring Boot for supporting integration with DevOps workflows. Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise or financial services environments. • Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform (modules, migrations, version management). • Proven experience with AWS services (ECS, ALB, DynamoDB, Lambda, Batch, Secrets Manager, Route53). • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting. • Experience with Liquibase and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
