Title: Site Reliability Engineer IV
Location: Charlotte, NC (3-days onsite, 2-days remote Hybrid schedule)
Note: This is a W2 contract role β C2C and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered
The Site Reliability Engineer will:
β’ Plan and execute configuration changes to the application and infrastructure
β’ Respond to emergencies and other incidents, and investigate issues in cloud systems
β’ Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and operations teams, and partner with development teams to improve services
β’ Participate in system design consulting and capacity planning
β’ Develop automation to push toward automatic systems and services
Position Qualifications:
β’ Experience leading incident response and supporting application teams
β’ Experience with public cloud platforms, such as AWS and/or API Gateways
β’ Experience using DevOps tools and technologies, such as GitLab, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, such as Terraform
β’ Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, and/or Splunk
β’ Strong troubleshooting skills, and experience building and enhancing observability using monitoring tools
β’ A proactive approach to observability maturity, identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement for observability
β’ Experience using Source Version Control (SVC), such as Git
β’ Experience with Blameless Postmortems
β’ Experience providing developer feedback for enhancing logging, runbooks, and addressing technical debt
β’ Experience promoting observability best practices
β’ Experience developing APIs, Microservices, or Frontend preferred
β’ A minimum of a Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science or other relevant technical field
