Role description
β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. β€’ 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, VMs, Networking, Storage). β€’ Proven experience in migrating workloads from Azure to on-premises environments. β€’ Extensive experience with Microsoft Hyper-V (virtualization, VM management, live migration, replication). β€’ Strong understanding of virtual machine lifecycle management, storage optimization, and network virtualization (VLANs, NSGs, firewalls). β€’ Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies in on-prem environments. β€’ Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Windows Server Backup). β€’ Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and high availability configurations. β€’ Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar) is a strong plus. β€’ Understanding of security best practices in hybrid and on-prem environments.
