Summary:
The primary function of a DevOps Engineer is to develop, configure, and manage application servers, as well as the software that runs on those servers.
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze and maintain system performance.
• Ensure efficient resource usage.
• Collaborate with developers to oversee code releases, create and implement software systems, and analyze data to improve existing systems.
• Ensure that systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Skills:
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with languages such as Ruby or Python.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
Education/Experience:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or another technical field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience.
