DevOps Engineer (Jersey City)

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure and Development team supporting various application initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: DevOps Engineer Only W2 Client : Bank Of America Location: Jersey City, NJ Pay Range: $60-65/W2 What's the Job? • Configure, deploy, and support workloads on OpenShift independently. • Write scripts in Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Bash for various automation needs. • Integrate continuous integration and deployment setups as per project requirements. • Work with application and development teams to onboard applications and integrate with CI/CD platforms. • Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for reliability improvement in the solution. What's Needed? • Expert level working with Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, and JIRA. • Strong experience in Linux administration and programming in Python or Shell scripting. • Experience in supporting applications in a fast-paced environment. • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC). • Experience with Agile development processes and tools.
