Job Overview:
We are actively seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Launch Darkly to support our client at LPL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and modern DevOps tools and practices. This role will focus on feature flag management (Launch Darkly), CI/CD automation, and cloud-based infrastructure support.
Responsibilities:
β’ Implement and manage feature flagging and experimentation using Launch Darkly.
β’ Design, build, and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines and automation solutions on AWS.
β’ Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to streamline deployment and release processes.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, application environments, and deployment workflows.
β’ Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions and participate in code reviews.
β’ Enforce best practices for CI/CD, configuration management, and cloud operations.
β’ Support and maintain existing DevOps processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills:
β’ Proven experience with Launch Darkly (feature flag management and rollout strategies).
β’ Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
β’ Solid understanding of DevOps tools and concepts (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
β’ Experience building and maintaining production pipelines in a cloud environment.
β’ Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
β’ Previous experience working in financial services or enterprise environments.
β’ Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).
β’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
