The engineer wi llcollaborate closely with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to build high lyavailable, scalable, secure, and automated platforms supporting mission-critical enterprise application s.Key Responsibiliti esInfrastructure & Platform Engineeri ng β€’ Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise Linux-based infrastructure environment s. β€’ Administer and optimize Red Hat/OpenShift and Kubernetes container platform s. β€’ Manage Linux virtual machine environments across VMware, KVM, or cloud-based virtualizati onplatform s. β€’ Implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable infrastructure architecture s. β€’ Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimizatio n.Kubernetes & OpenShift Administrati on β€’ Build and maintain Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters for production and non-production environment s. β€’ Configure ingress controllers, networking, storage classes, service mesh, operators, and clust ersecurit y. β€’ Automate deployment pipelines and container lifecycle managemen t. β€’ Implement GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practice s. β€’ Troubleshoot cluster performance, node failures, networking issues, and container runtime problem s.Automation & DevO ps β€’ Develop automation solutions using Ansible for provisioning, patching, configuration managemen t,and application deploymen t. β€’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting microservices and distributed platform s. β€’ Standardize deployment and operational processes through scripting and automatio n. β€’ Integrate security, compliance, and operational controls into deployment workflow s.Data & Streaming Platform Suppo rt β€’ Administer and support Apache Kafka clusters including brokers, topics, partitions, replication, a ndsecurit y. β€’ Support Apache Flink streaming data platforms and real-time processing pipelin es. β€’ Manage Cloudera/Spark ecosystems for distributed data processing workloa ds. β€’ Optimize distributed compute and data platforms for performance and resilien cy. β€’ Support data ingestion, streaming, and large-scale analytics environmen ts.Monitoring & Observabil ity β€’ Implement enterprise monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Splunk and rela tedtooli ng. β€’ Develop dashboards, alerts, and operational metrics for infrastructure and application monitori ng. β€’ Conduct root cause analysis and incident troubleshooting across distributed syste ms. β€’ Support production operations, incident response, and problem management activiti es.Security & Complia nce β€’ Implement infrastructure hardening, RBAC, secrets management, and container security best practic es. β€’ Support enterprise security standards, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiativ es. β€’ Ensure operational reliability, backup strategies, and disaster recovery readine ss.
