Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and modern DevOps practices, and is passionate about driving efficiency, performance, and security across the software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments.
β’ Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
β’ Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
β’ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
β’ Collaborate with development and QA teams to support build, deployment, and release processes.
β’ Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical infrastructure and services.
β’ Maintain and improve security, access controls, and compliance across environments.
β’ Troubleshoot issues across the full stack: hardware, software, application, and network.
β’ Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to optimize workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
β’ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
β’ Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
β’ Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.
β’ Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
β’ Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
β’ Familiarity with Git, version control, and branching strategies.
β’ Knowledge of secure DevOps practices and vulnerability management.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience supporting microservices architectures.
β’ Exposure to serverless computing and event-driven systems.
β’ DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate).
