• Manage and optimize Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) clusters and containerized workloads
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform and/or ARM templates
• Automate operations and deployment workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, architects, and security teams
• Support and integrate middleware platforms (e.g., WebLogic, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka)
• Monitor infrastructure performance, cost, and uptime using observability platforms
• Enforce cloud security, secrets management, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA)
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Proven expertise with AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, EKS) and Azure (VMs, AKS, Azure AD, Resource Manager)
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, with experience deploying infrastructure across multi-cloud platforms
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Background with middleware technologies such as WebLogic, Apache Kafka, or Tomcat
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for distributed or SaaS-based applications
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, secrets management, and security policies
Nice to Have
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments or cloud migration projects
• Familiarity with tools like ArgoCD, Flux, Helm, or Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Exposure to observability tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
Additional Details
• Location: Remote-first, but must be based near Alpharetta, GA or open to occasional travel
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time (no sponsorship offered)
