Role description
Title: Software Developer Location: Austin TX Compensation: $65-$72 an hour on W2 Duration: 6 months THE ROLE: We are searching for a dynamic, motivated self-starter, who is passionate about DevOps, with a thirst for knowledge and a firm commitment to schedule and solving problems. You will be joining the Server DevOps team to take our Automated testing to the next level. KEY Requirements: • Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. • Help to identify and fix bugs and improve the reliability of our CI/CD Infrastructure. • Learn new technologies and programming languages. • Contribute to the development of new features with a proactive mindset. • Experience in working on Agile and milestone driven product development • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers when needed. WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART: • Good understanding of DevOps principles and practices • Experience with Groovy, Python, Shell • Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. • Good understanding about SCM tools like git/github and CI/CD tools like cloudbees, github actions • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana is a plus • Proficiency with artifact management tools like JFrog Artifactory and Harbor. • Working knowledge in both Windows and Linux environments including scripting languages (PERL, Python, Ruby) and programming (C/C++, Assembly). • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and system administration. Educational Background: • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 6+ years of experience. • MS in a relevant field with 1–2 years of experience.
