Job Title: Technical DevOps Engineer – Artifact Management Duration: Until December 31, 2025 (with potential renewal) Workload: Full time hours Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader) Location: London, Hybrid – Weekly office attendance required (3 days onsite incl. Monday & Friday) A leading client is urgently seeking a DevOps Engineer to support artifact management and infrastructure migration from on-prem to Azure cloud. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Implement and enhance infrastructure systems and development tooling β€’ Improve security posture across CI/CD tools and hosting environments β€’ Monitor performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues β€’ Support migrations from on-prem to Azure cloud β€’ Administer and maintain CI/CD tools including GitLab, Nexus, and AKS β€’ Collaborate with global teams to design and scale infrastructure solutions β€’ Automate builds and deployments using Maven, Gradle, and Helm β€’ Provision and optimize cloud-native resources using Terraform and ARM templates Must-Have Skills: β€’ Strong experience with RedHat Linux, Solaris x86, and scripting (Bash/Python) β€’ Hands-on with GitLab, Nexus Repository Manager, Nexus Lifecycle (IQ) β€’ Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling β€’ Kubernetes and Helm expertise β€’ Infrastructure management across on-prem and Azure environments β€’ Experience with Terraform and PowerShell scripting β€’ Familiarity with Azure services (ACR, Azure Monitor, diagnostics) Nice-to-Have: β€’ Experience with Databricks β€’ Background in large-scale infrastructure upgrades and DevOps automation β€’ Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM templates
