Job Title: Technical DevOps Engineer β Artifact Management
Duration: Until December 31, 2025 (with potential renewal)
Workload: Full time hours
Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)
Location: London, Hybrid β Weekly office attendance required (3 days onsite incl. Monday & Friday)
A leading client is urgently seeking a DevOps Engineer to support artifact management and infrastructure migration from on-prem to Azure cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Implement and enhance infrastructure systems and development tooling
β’ Improve security posture across CI/CD tools and hosting environments
β’ Monitor performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
β’ Support migrations from on-prem to Azure cloud
β’ Administer and maintain CI/CD tools including GitLab, Nexus, and AKS
β’ Collaborate with global teams to design and scale infrastructure solutions
β’ Automate builds and deployments using Maven, Gradle, and Helm
β’ Provision and optimize cloud-native resources using Terraform and ARM templates
Must-Have Skills:
β’ Strong experience with RedHat Linux, Solaris x86, and scripting (Bash/Python)
β’ Hands-on with GitLab, Nexus Repository Manager, Nexus Lifecycle (IQ)
β’ Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling
β’ Kubernetes and Helm expertise
β’ Infrastructure management across on-prem and Azure environments
β’ Experience with Terraform and PowerShell scripting
β’ Familiarity with Azure services (ACR, Azure Monitor, diagnostics)
Nice-to-Have:
β’ Experience with Databricks
β’ Background in large-scale infrastructure upgrades and DevOps automation
β’ Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM templates
