Role description
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Duties: β€’ Manage and support all aspects of the SDLC pipeline, including production deployments, environment refreshes, and ongoing operational support β€’ Administer and support change control throughout delivery β€’ Utilize SDLC tools, including Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory, to manage code, automate builds, and orchestrate production deployments β€’ Monitor and respond to application performance, system health, and security vulnerabilities using tools such as Appdynamics, Splunk, Teradata Viewpoint, and AWS CloudWatch β€’ Architect and implement scalable and reliable solutions within the AWS ecosystem β€’ Troubleshoot and manage connectivity and firewall requests β€’ Implement and enforce server encryption, certifications, and patches β€’ Develop and support ETL processes and APIs, integrating various data sources and targets β€’ Write and optimize SQL queries for Teradata, MySQL, SQL Server, and Postgres by applying query performance tuning techniques β€’ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AWS and Teradata product management, cloud operations, and upstream boundary partners β€’ Manage and support IAM permissions and policies Desired Skills/Experience: β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience β€’ 5+ years of professional software development experience β€’ Expert-level knowledge of AWS infrastructure and architecture β€’ Strong background in software development lifecycle principles β€’ Experience driving cloud-native initiatives Benefits: β€’ Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans β€’ Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) β€’ 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between $40.00 and $58.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
