We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, with the ability to work on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA, while maintaining flexibility for hybrid work arrangements as tasks allow.
Responsibilities
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS technologies such as ECR, EKS, S3, and Networking.
• Develop and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Write and maintain programming and scripting solutions, with a preference for Python.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate ideas clearly while solving complex problems.
• Adhere to physical and security clearance requirements while working on secure networks.
Essential Skills
• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or software development.
• Proficiency in AWS technologies including ECR, EKS, S3, and Networking.
• Strong skills in Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Programming and scripting skills, with Python preferred.
• Organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with Ansible for managing Kubernetes workloads and configuration automation.
• Familiarity with government-related IT policies, frameworks, or regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of additional cloud infrastructure tools and best practices.
Work Environment
The role requires on-site work 5 days a week at Fort Belvoir, VA, with flexibility for hybrid work as task requirements allow.
