Role description
Akkodis is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a contract job with a client in Kennesaw, GA (hybrid). You will be responsible for Providing technical support for projects in Private Bank Fiduciary Tax, Trust IRA, and Specialty Asset Management areas. Rate Range: $50 to $55 per hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with business, operations, internal technical teams, and external vendors to gather and analyze business requirements. • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and technical requirements. • Lead and coordinate efforts across the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment phases of projects. • Facilitate system integration testing (SIT) and support user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating test plans, test scripts, and executing test cases. • Participate in production validation and release activities, ensuring successful rollout and compliance with bank application governance standards. • Support problem/incident management, including root cause analysis, issue tracking, and resolution. • Ensure all deliverables meet project timelines, milestones, and stakeholder expectations. • Maintain awareness and ensure adherence to bank policies, security control standards, and RISE (Regulatory, Incident, Stability, and Efficiency) deliverables. • Lead cross-functional meetings, maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, risk assessments, and remediation plans. • Conduct manual functional and regression testing to validate changes and system functionality. • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management. QUALIFICATIONS: • 7 years experience working as an IT Business Analyst in financial services, preferably within fiduciary trust, tax, or asset management domains. • Ability to work independently with internal and external stakeholders to analyze and remediate issues. • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple vendor or distributed applications simultaneously. • Hands-on experience translating business requirements into actionable user stories for Agile development. • Practical experience with manual functional and regression testing, including test plan creation and execution. • Familiarity with application security controls, identity and access management, penetration testing, and disaster recovery protocols. • Proficiency in JIRA, Agile methodologies, and story writing. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience leading large meetings and documenting project risks and controls. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Basic understanding of Private Banking products and services. • Experience in highly regulated environments and working with compliance/audit standards. • Familiarity with RISE deliverables and bank governance frameworks.
