DevOps Engineer

Role Overview The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for leading complex programming, development, and project management tasks with minimal supervision. This role focuses on delivering high-value business features, maintaining software quality, and ensuring robust testing and deployment practices across infrastructure components and applications. Key Responsibilities • Independently manage complex systems and infrastructure components used across multiple applications • Drive application development with a focus on delivering business-critical features • Establish and promote high standards of software quality through best practices • Plan and execute integrated and customer acceptance testing to ensure timely, high-quality results • Perform additional duties as assigned by management Team Collaboration • Work closely with DevOps engineers and Cloud Security engineers • Collaborate with Digital Development teams to support scalable and secure solutions Education & Experience • Minimum 8 years of software development experience • No formal degree required; however, candidates with degrees must still meet the 8-year experience requirement Required Technical Skills • 8+ years of DevOps experience • 5+ years of experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms • Proficient in managing YAML-based CI/CD systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) • Skilled in writing and deploying infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation and/or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates Desired Technical Skills • AWS or Azure Associate/Professional-level certifications in DevOps, Development, or Architecture • Strong experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) • Proven ability to perform root cause analysis on CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with IDEs such as VSCode, Eclipse, or IntelliJ • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and enhance scalability Soft Skills • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities • Effective verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration Top 3 Skills • Deep expertise in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline management and automation • Strong communication and troubleshooting abilities
