DevOps Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Devops Engineer. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Westlake, TX (Hybrid). Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Skills-Apache web server configuration • AWS / EKS • Shell Scripting / Unix/Linux / • Jenkins, Splunk, Datadog, docker • Understanding of Microservices • Understanding of general networking. • Extensive experience installing, configuring, and managing Apache Web Server. Knowledge of Envoy proxy server a strong plus. • Proficiency in Jenkins, Splunk, Datadog, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and a scripting language like Groovy/Bash/Python • Significant hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based applications running in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) • Proven experience building and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies • Adept at communicating technical solutions, risks, and business value to peers and leadership in written, spoken, and presentation form • Dedication to learning new and sophisticated technologies and able to guide others about those technologies • Experience implementing policy-based authorization solutions with Open Policy Agent (OPA) is a plus.
